The team at Petrel are delighted to announce that we have been selected as winners of “Product of the Year” at the Electrical Industry Federation of Ireland’s annual awards.

 

The award is in recognition of our market leading LED Area light. Our LED Area Light is a high efficiency luminaire boasting an impressive light output from 10,000 to 24,000 Lumens. Since it’s launch a little over a year ago this innovative, low maintenance lighting solution has proved popular with customers around the world.

 

Our supply chain partner TEC Electric, who operate across the Republic of Ireland, have been quick to recognise the benefits of the Area Light for their customers and saw it as an obvious candidate for the well respected awards.

 

The ceremony was held at the Red Cow Hotel in Dublin on the 21^st of September and John Leahy from TEC Electric was there to accept the award on our behalf.

The LED Area Light is certified for use in Zone 1, 21, 2, 22 and also suitable for industrial applications. luminaire. The high quality corrosion resistant aluminium body gives excellent durability in offshore environments, and the LED light engine provides a long service life which is virtually maintenance free.
